Chundale Tea Estate (Harrisons Malayalam)

Chundale Tea Estate (Harrisons Malayalam): Chundale, a few kilometres south of Kalpetta, is surrounded by tea estates; Harrisons Malayalam lists Chundale Estate (Chundale Post, 673 123) among its Wayanad gardens, making CTC tea, about two million kg a year. OpenStreetMap shows the Chundale Tea Factory and the estate land beside the Kalpetta-Meppadi road. It is a working private plantation, so visitors keep to public roads unless an estate offers a tour; no visitor hours or fees are published. From Kalpetta it is about 7 km by road.
