Regional Agricultural Research Station for High range zone is located at Ambalavayal Wayanad district. Ambalavayal is located about 25 km east of Kalpetta, the district headquarter.
The station was established under Ex Service men Colonisation programme Wayanad, in 1946 by the then Madras Government.
